Early911SRegistry/RGruppe Coffee and Doughnutfest, Sat Jan 4, 2020.

Hard to believe but this event has been going on in 5 decades! We didn't invent "Cars and Coffee" events but we can surely claim to be early adopters. Fresh brewed, fresh ground Pete's Coffee and a great selection of doughnuts will be available free of charge. There is a donation can, though. We have been able to send money to some deserving local charities due to the generosity of our attendees. Thank You for that. It should be clear and cold so bring out that early 911 or 356 or any Porsche you want. I do understand that "cold" is a relative term and "cold" in the SF Bay Area is probably more like "balmy" if you are from the mid west or North East. Yes, there are sure to be a few people in shorts in attendance. Please leave the parking spaces on Harlan St for interesting Porsches, though. Plenty of parking is available on Park St at the north end of Harlan. Seems as though there are more cars on Park St than can fit on Harlan these days. Hope to see many of you on Saturday. Best wishes for the New Year.

    Regards

    Jim

Is this pretty much the biggest gathering you have all year?
it seems like it...or is there a month that gets more attendance?

The weather plays a huge part in the number of people that attend. The summer months draw the most people generally. We are expecting a pretty large crowd on Saturday, though. I'll try and take a few pictures between my coffee making duties.

We had a great turnout despite clouds and a bit of drizzle. The sun came out later in the morning, though.

It looks like no cars and donuts coming up in April. Right? It's the new law.
Is the the first one that was ever cancelled?

There will not be a meet in April due to Covid-19 concerns. Hoping to meet in May.
