if of any help, this is the COA of my 911L This is USA delivery- about the radio point you raised : you'll notice that there is no radio mentioned but antenna and speaker. So I have no clue if the installed radio is original or not or installed by the dealer etc.

And I do not see anything else missing on your dashboard.

Wow, stunning. I couldn't pull up the ebay listing as the link didn't work any longer but did go to the Carparc website and saw pictures of the restoration. Thanks for the link.

    Kardex

I got my Kardex; that was a fast and easy process.

Though I am still trying to decipher all of the information, I am glad there are no negative surprises! Everything I thought I knew about the car's history was correct.

It is nice to know what radio came with the car so I can try to get that particular model in the near future. And also information on the antenna as I need to get that as well.

Hi David, Mike Fitton (mfitton) on here can help with the radio. He got me this Blaupunkt Frankfurt US/Stereo version for my 1973 BMW 2002tii.

And here's the Frankfurt Euro/Mono that LiveFromNY installed in my 70S during his ownership which might have also been sourced from Mike. Happy hunting!

That is interesting about the headrests. The current seats appear to be original and don't have headrests. I wonder if that is an error in the Kardex?

    Another Kardex error?

My Kardex lists the engine serial number as 3380138 but if I have the photo right, it shows as 3380139. I have a close up that clearly shows the discrepancy and the full shot that shows the location below and to the right of the fan. Odd right? What are the odds that the motor was replaced and it was with the serial one number higher?

Has anyone seen something like this before? Is there anything I can do to verify? Thanks

6,8,9 often get recorded incorrectly, because yours is so close you can assume that it is a recording error..... they made these type of mistakes relatively often.... your seats may have been swapped out... when the seats did not have head rest in 1968 , you could still see and feel the female receptors under the vinal/leather upholstery... behind the driver side seat hinge apparatuses is unique to 1968 as well.
