This 911S Targa is one of 989 produced worldwide for model year 1972. It is a European version with a weight of approximately 2300 pounds and 190 horsepower. The 1972 "S" could accelerate to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, and reach a Factory-quoted top speed of 143 mph.
1972 models had some distinguishing features- it was the only year 911 with the external oil door on the right-rear quarter panel, and introduced the under-the-front-bumper chin spoiler.

The motor on this "S" was rebuilt by Porsche specialists 4,000 miles ago, with complete documentation. The car was completely restored in 2010 to a high standard in its Factory-original color Signal Yellow, and is documented with photos and invoices
