    FS: complete 912 engine

I am offering a complete 912 engine from exhaust to flywheel to air cleaners.
As it was dropped from a running car decades ago. Stored properly inside. No seized carb shafts. Rolls over my hand. This was a factory replacement long block thus a "AT" stamped in front of the number. Owner says less than 50K on it.
If any interest, send a direct email and I will tell everything I know and send pictures.
Also, I will strap it to a pallet and bring it to a shipping depot. Buyer pays and arranges all shipping.
    $3600.

I have gotten enough response as to tell what I know about the motor and post pictures.
This was in a 67 coupe that was purchased by the owner in the USA. He was in the navy so he imported it into Germany where he was to be for years. At some point years later the car developed many oil leaks. He brought it to a dealer for a reseal, and he was told it would be several weeks before he could get his car back. But....they could get a replacement long block from Porsche and he could get his car back in a week for about the same money, so that is the route he took.
Fast forward to the mid eighties, the car needed inspection and it would not pass due to rust. Cost made no sense to him to repair the rust, so he had the complete drive train removed and put it in dry inside storage. Now in his mid eighties, he decided it was time to find a home for it. I bought it as I have a need for the transmission.
So, I am offering the motor at a fair price from what I have seen. Owner said the engine has no more than 50K on it.
Of course it would need a complete reseal, but the internals should be good. no frozen linkage, and rolls over by hand on the front pulley.
Owner states that he removed all the plugs and oiled the cylinders to preserve it. This is a one owner engine and the oil was changed regularly.
