    7/1971 on the VIN sticker. Hard to believe they were already building ‘72 model year cars that early. Yours?

    8/71. The '72 S that Longballa sold on BaT last year was also 7/71. It was '72 S #0023.

    That car was amazing. Sounds like July is when they started then.

    Wow that is incredible - a very early build for sure, and an S to boot! I cannot believe they were building 72’s in March!

    Why the long gap between March and July when number 0023 was built?

    Loving that March build 72. Wow!
    Didn't the staff vacate the building July/August to drink bier and enjoy the summer? I have a mint 1L Stein accidentally borrowed from an Oktoberfest 1995. Paypal accepted.
