$150k for a very nice '67S with 2 motors (one original) and sport seats. If you sold the hot rod 2.5L motor and used the funds to rebuild and reinstall the numbers matching engine/tranny you'd probably break even. This looks like the new normal for driver quality '67S cars.

Ben, it’s my opinion that the details will not cost much to correct and therefore their incorrectness was over penalized. I also think that selling the 2.5L will result in sufficient funds for a modest rebuild of the correct engine, rendering the buyer with little out of pocket cost to end up with a numbers matching driver quality ‘67S. Of course, all my own opinion but this may be the market correct price for less than perfect 9but nevertheless very nice) ‘67Ss.

It has a mag '71 pull-clutch transmission in the photos, a 911/01.

I agree.Although I think that outside of the auctions the reset was two-three years ago. In April 2016 I bought my 667S for 110k. It needed the rebuild and install of the matching engine and a few other items, so that put me about where this 67S sold on Bat.

I agree--people that are paying this kind of money want turn key. Ones I can sort of compare Smedley's Champagne Yellow hot rod 67S sold for $217,000 about a year ago. Also a 1970 freshly painted Albert blue 911S with a fresh engine sold last summer for $175,000. Chris

I'm a bit surprised it didn't go for more but I also think that BAT may not be the best place to sell something like this car.
