Can anyone measure size of a 68 coupe sunvisors please ?

    Hi,
    back on that one

Can anyone measure the length and height of a 1968 SWB coupé sunvisor please (guess same driver and passenger) ?

I believe I have Targa ones in my coupé.

    thanks
    Xavier

As you probably know 68 visors have a specific form due to the central rear mirror.
If you are not far from Paris I can lend you one to compare.

You can't have Targa sunvisors in your Coupe, well , anything is possible I suppose. Targa visors have pivots on both ends, only rotate up and down and are black on both sides. Your 68 Coupe visors are black on the top and white on the bottom and have only 1 pivot from the outer end and rotate up and down and also side to side. 68s do have a unique shape, as mentioned earlier and are "one year only". There are discussions of sun visors and many pictures also in previous threads on this forum.

    Regards

    Jim

Actually, I just stumbled on a 68 Coupe sun visor. I put it next to a 69 and later visor and the difference is obvious. The 69 visor is a bit longer, too. The 68 visor is the one on the top, by the way

    Regards

Mystery solved ! thanks to all and kudos to Jim. I have 69 sunvisors in my 68 coupé.

When I pull down the sunvisor, it is masking partuially the central mirror because this side part of the sunvisor is too large(height).

Now I have a pair of good 69 sunvisors for sale or swap from to 68 ones (or buy)
    Cheers.
