    FS: fuchs 15x6 wheels restored

    Sold Thanks Early911s!

I'm selling a beautifully restored set of 4 Porsche 911 fuchs 15x6 wheels. These wheels are restored to factory anodized finished and never used since restoration. The part number on each wheel is 911.361.020.10 and all matching date code 11/73, 11/73, 11/73, 11/73. This setup will fit all narrow body Porsche 911 and 912 from 1965 to 1977.

You should only sell your rims on BaT. A set of 5 finished non date matching flat sixes sold for 6700 dollars recently. It's ridiculous.

Someday the BaT-crazies are going to catch on to the fact that Fuchs are not that rare, and need not be bid to the moon. Someday...

Hi popowitz, I feel like fuchs on BAT is a little too crazy for me. Although the ending price is good, I rather sell them on the forum to members who need them at a fair market price. Arne has a good point, someday, BAT bidders will realize fuchs are not that rare especially flat 6s. The market for them is stable and fair right now, but never 6700, that's "BaT-crazies" -Arne ( I totally agree )

The other part of the BaT/Fuchs mess is that BaT apparently won't let sellers set a reserve price on Fuchs. Not that one has been needed so far, but someday someone is going to get bit, I suspect.

I honestly considered selling the set I got from Peter last year (never installed yet) on BaT and then buying another set from Peter and using the proceeds to help finance the other parts of the project. Somehow, I haven't been able to decide that is something I want to do.
