    Door striker parts feeler

Hi all! Feeler here to the community...I’m working on re-making the plastic parts for early door strikers. I own ‘66 and ‘67 912s. Both have failed plastic in the striker receiver. I found a NOS set for one door, but here parts are getting hard to find and they are pricey. So I’m just making some replacements. Checking to see if there’s any interest is such parts in the general Porsche community. Other NLA plastic parts could be considered in future, too.

    Thanks!

FYI, another option is to buy the same part which fits a Karmann Gaia.

I am sure there are other suppliers for these.
I used the rebuild kit and it works well.

The striker shown in the link in the post above is for a very early car (e.g., 65), and not for, say, a 67 and later.
