    Is it safe to weld?

I have had motorcycles where it’s not safe to weld, but they had actual electronics. For a 73.5 is there any risk of frying anything MIG welding on the fender? Thanks

No risk, although disconnecting the battery would be a good precaution.

Magnesium will become bright fire. One might add this to the things of which to be cautious.

It’s not that easy to start a Mag fire, no worries.

Place the ground clamp as close to the weld area as possible,
Current fleet, mostly rubbish automobiles and other assorted junk.
