Easy Question - Hirschmann Antenna Rubber/Plastic body buffer/grommet/washer

I have removed the radio from a car which had it added after the fact bitd. A radio is useless in an air-cooled early Porsche when so much good music is played out back.

Short of welding the hole and painting the fender my intention is to make a dummy cover for the hole and use the same size plastic/rubber base used on the Hirschmann antenna. FWIW, the Hirschmann covers sold by Woody's won't do the job. A friend who runs a British shop gave a Dorman freeze plug and one of his fabricators tig welded a stud on it. It's a pretty good fit but I think I'll need to form one for the contour.

What I need to start is the actual plastic base piece which as of now haven't had any luck finding. This one is embossed "Made In Germany".

There is a plug that works. Two parts a plastic base and a metal slightly domed silver cover with a screw on reverse. It has its own plastic lower piece to sit on wing( fender( so doesn't plug existing plastic aerial fittng; it plugs thenaked raw hole in metal . It may even be a hirchmann brand blank. Pretty sure I have one somewhere but heavens knows where it is. I do need to have a rummage in the next few weeks for another reason so if it comes to hand I'll let you know

Thank you Steve. The Woody's plug would work were it about 35mm across which fits the original bezel bumper. The bezel bumper has about a 1.5- 2mm recess for the base.
I did work up a freeze plug with a stud but it's going to sit proud due to the angle of the antenna location and the fact that the plug is entirely flat. It did look pretty good otherwise.
My body guy says plugging the hole is easy but I don't want to do an paintwork at this juncture.

Still pretty sure I have this part, but I haven't been able to lay hands on it yet. If I come across it, I'll let you know.
