Bought this stalled ‘69 S project a few years ago. Rebuilt engine (Ollie’s, Aase), great tub, complete: $10,000. I know, makes you cry, doesn’t it?

I gave it to my son and he never did anything with it so it was sold. Be interesting to know where it is today and what condition it’s in. Anyone know?

    Cheers,
    John

So the answer appears to be -- in Europe?

If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong), after Macroni this car went on the dealer flip carousel for a while as it seemed to change hands a couple of times.

I just read the thread about the restoration and sorting. It’s great to see it end up so well at the hands of the masters. It sure brought back memories of some of my restorations - I need a nap.

    Cheers,

This car has been all over the place. Sold by Maxted Page a few years back as well.

Yes, I recall it being offered some years ago by Maxted-Page in the UK. It was (is) a well done proper "sports purpose" 911.
