Increase the Brightness of Your Brake Lights & Turn Signals by 45%

    though the end of April.

    —————

    March 22, 2020 Update

These are back in stock. I have been scrapping the internet and have managed to accumulate some more. Supplies are limited.

    ** ALERT **

I thought I would bring you up to date on these. First of all, they are the real deal. They are much brighter than standard incandescent bulbs and they last longer. They sell briskly and, unfortunately, the supply seems to be drying out. And when I do find them prices are generally higher than they were originally, maybe because folks see supplies drying out. I've searched and searched and I cannot find anything comparable - these are evidently some kind of freak that appears to be out of production.

I have enough confirmed and on the way to fill back orders and I will have some left for a few new orders. If you have been thinking about buying a set of these now is a good time to act. With all of the research I have done this has entered the "Would you like fries with that?" category of profitability but I want to be successful in terms of getting them all distributed and I'm informing this group first.

    ** 2/18/20 Update **

For those of you who have tried to buy these at the store and received a Sold Out message they are now restocked. My main vendor has them on back order and they are getting very hard to find but I found some bits here and there. I’m not sure how long these will be available and there may be price increases.

    __________

Originality AND increased brightness. This is a great find thanks to my friend Daniel Stern.

These high performance incandescent bulbs are a great choice If you want brighter signal lights but prefer a more traditional appearance for your turn signals and taillights than LED bulbs. Your external signal lamps can safely be made 45% brighter with these European special high-efficiency bulbs. And, in addition to increased brightness, they have nickel-plated bases which are required in Europe for corrosion resistance.

    There is a single-filament variety (replacing 7506, 1156, 1141, 1076, P21W, or P25-1) and a dual-filament variety (replacing 7528, 1157, 1034, 2057, 2357, P21/5W, or P25-2). Most air cooled Porsches require eight bulbs (kit doesn't include small 4w city light).

We have assembled a kit with the all of the bulbs you need for both front turn signals and rear taillights. The Audette Collection Kit is $98.50. Link to AC Store

    John

I bought this set from Daniel Stern prior to John offering them through his store. The difference is noticeable and the light output is quite bright. A good safety upgrade indeed. Nick

    John,
The one reason some of us may be a little hesitant is, like LED's, the look of the lights are often too far from the original look of the tail lights.
Almost a fake look. Now of course I don't know what these look like, but do you or someone have a side by side comparison or at least a photo of these bulbs installed?
Just sayin. Or am I just too out there to even ask a question like this(?)
    Thanks and Cheers,
    Rich
