    WTB: P225 for 1970 911 Synchro removal

Does anyone have the P225 tool for removing the synchro bands / dog teeth from the gear? I would like to buy one!

Hi, I don’t but I’m also looking for one if you find a source at reasonable cost, I’m in the UK and shipping from the states together with customs charges makes it expensive to source so far! Let me know if anyone has one to sell. Thanks . Robin

Robin, if your synchro hubs are damaged or worn down they can be cut off from the gears too.

The tools are around for about $200. I tried to make my own, for $20. But it didn't work.
I just super super carefully, cut mine off. You don't have to cut all the way thru. Once you get close, with a hammer blow it will crack.
    That was really easy.
