7 inch Fuchs on narrow body?

What's the common wisdom on running 7 inch Fuchs on a standard narrow body 1972 S? I know they fit without problems at the front, but what about the rear fenders? What combinations of tire sizes work if you plan to run 60 or 70 profile? I understand it also depends on the ET of the wheels, so some advice on which Fuchs to use would be great. Thank you

they will fit a narrow body car. I currently have 7” Fuchs (part no 911.361.020.11, which I believe is 15x7” ET 23.3) with 205/60-15 tires on all four corners.

It's not an exact science. Whether they fit the rear or not depends on the car's body, ride height, rear alignment, and the physical size of the tires (actual measurements, not what's printed on the sidewall). What works on one car may not work on another, and there are frequently differences from side to side.

My 70S had later sevens all around when I bought it. I want to say that they were wearing 60 series but can't recall. I sold those off pretty early.

Thanks for sharing, this is the information I was looking (and hoping!) for. And of course I realize each car can be different both in the metal, depending on ride height, etc, but now I have something to start from.
