WTB: American Safety Seat Belt Webbing Buckle Connector

I have literally no idea what this part is called. Yes, I realize "webbing buckle connector" sounds like English is my 3rd or 4th language. But I lost this small part for my seat belts and can't find it anywhere. It's a small metal bar with wedges on either end that works in conjunction with a buckle to connect 2 parts of the belt.

Photos below that should help. Eternally grateful for any assistance.

You are probably missing the cover that goes over that piece, too. It should be a painted sheet metal cover.

Sorry John. I don't have any of those left. They came in 67 911s/912 as a dealer installed option and were standard US 68 900 series cars after Jan 1968. It's the connector for the shoulder belt. The covers fell off on a regular basis but the part you need almost never went missing.

    Regards
