    Nice Pierburg Solex Fuel Pump

    Hi All,

Another part being liberated from the stash. This is a nice 5 65 Pierburg mechanical fuel pump for use with Solex cars from 64-66. This has clearly had a factory rebuild kit installed as the filters and gaskets are as new and the genuine APG diaphragms are soft and pliable. These parts haven't had fuel through them. As can be seen in the photos, all of the fittings are clean and without damage. The alloy castings could be given a tickle over with a vapour blaster if you wanted it concours, but all of the important working parts are in nice condition, have a look through the anatomical photos. It'll happily run for many miles in its current original condition. I'm also including a set of modern sealing washer in case you'd like to replace those pesky orange fibre ones which always weep from the filter fronts. These are proven and never leak a drop. Any questions, just let me know. Looking for $1200 or best offer.

    Many thanks
    David

    Price drop to $1000

Bare in mind this is not just a core for rebuild. When was the last time you saw a factory NOS rebuild kit?
