Spark plug wires sticking to plugs?

I went to change my spark plugs and as I pulled each wire off, the inside portion stuck to the plug. All six of them. The plug wires were brand new current production made by BERU and the plugs are NGK BP8ES. Any idea what might have caused this?

either find an old set of wires check resistance 1k ohm they do go bad wires are solid but the resister burns out on the plug end. I bought a set for my 71s from dealer still available the real parts right quality more money but worth every dollar. If your not worried about original appearance use the 74 up they have the ground shield

Thank you for all the input. It is sounding like they wires failed on account of poor construction. My main concern was that it may be an indication of something else. I have replaced them with a set of original BERU wires with the brown bakelite ends. Pushing them on feels way better and pulling them off is much easier.
