    Marking on rear turn Signal

    Hello,

    Markings look like SAEAPORS168?

    Can anyone date these?
Is 68 the year of manufacturing?
Both L & R sides are the same marking.
Euro UK, wondered if anyone save similar?

Doubt they are date coded, same goes for the lenses and rear reflector. SAE is some kind of approval I think. On the rear reflectors you have SAE 67 and 72 markings. Not sure if there are any other SAE codes apart from the one your are showing.

    Regards,

SAE is a standards authority for automotive and other products. The number next to SAE denotes when the standard was first applied to a part rather than dating it. SAE has been largely superseded in the European Union by the CE mark. Stand to be corrected on this.
