    They were stolen in 1970.
Service records show they were replaced in 1970 with Hella 139 .
I was told today at the pelican cars and coffee that they are incorrect for 1969MY car.. and that I should have the Hella 128.

But looking thru old posts here ….it looks like the Hella 128 Fog was only thru MY 1968.

    What do you all think?
    Thanks
    Doug

    My thoughts.
For a 69 car. You would have the square ones.
There are different Hella 139/169 fogs. I think 1969 started the rear mounted. (1968 are also top mounted, but for the 128s)
    70-71 + rear mounted.
It is also possible they were not available for USA. I have read that several places...
But sounds like you have a paper that says they could be an option.
My dad had fog lights on his brand new 1969. Probably factory, but could have been added by a mechanic named Karl in Long Beach, CA
He also covered them with a black fabric/vinyl boot thing.

I had both a 1968 targa, and at the same time a 1969 targa.
With rounds on the 68....and squares on the 1969.

And if a service record had the square ones....then I would say that is the history of the car, and they stay.

with your bumper, like that...you wouldn't even be able to install the 128s.
your car looks very nice and perfect.

the covers on father's car was similar to one of these. probably the second one.

It must have been great to have your Father purchase a new 1969 Porsche …. Great connection to share with your Dad!
