Yes, same place. Not sure how they stay in business. They destroyed themselves.

I was told they have re-invented themselves at 14520 Delano St. / Van Nuys CA.

This needs updating. Many cars were shifted to other locations either before or after the current shop was locked up. Two people I know of were able to retrieve partially-done cars today, but not all the associated parts in one case, and with shoddy work done in the other case. If you or anyone you know has cars in Espo possession, you may have a struggle to locate and retreive them.

This is a very sad turn of events, as I had work done by John & his crew in the past that was excellent, but that standard declined starting at least from the point when they left the Raymer Street location.

The landlord had the sheriff evict them, lock the gates and post the eviction notice stating they could not enter or remove any property. Later security cameras caught them breaking back into the shop to illegally remove cars and parts. Apparently many cars had been moved to other locations, undisclosed to the owners. Some project cars have been found, and had been left out in the weather, unprotected from rain etc. missing many parts. I know of at least one owner getting his shell out of the shop with the permission of the landlord, however all the assembled parts on the car had been removed and are missing, along with engine etc. They have consistently removed parts from one customer car to sell to another without permission or knowledge, and there are reports of cars being put under liens or being sold to multiple people. This operation has become well known here in SoCal, as unethical at the least, and more likely criminal. The problem is they stay in business by recruiting out of town or out of state customers with slick social media and lies. I just saw a new social media post of a car "in progress" that is the center of a major fraud. The whole thing is truly shocking.

    Horror.
I remember a post years ago in which when I didn't know anything I made a bad comment. I thought I "had" screwed it up by giving my vision of the work they showed in John's images... today... and reading this guy of things...Nothing amazes me.

This is just sad to say the least. John really did great work back in the day.
