    1967 911 S transmission differences

Sorry to ask one of my dumb questions but what are the differences between a 1967 911S transmission and a 1967 normal transmission. What is the serial number range for the '67 normals. I know the range for the "S" types. Thanks

Simpler question. Other than the case markings, if I substitute a Z gear for the X gear do i have a 911S transmission?

All the various ratios are in the "Spec Book" which I don't have here, its in my tool box. I believe the only differences are the ratios, if no one answers first I will try to remember to bring that home tomorrow.

I concur with Richy, just the change in fifth gear.
The 911 transmission range is: 902/1 130001 to 131571, the 912 transmission is the same type (and gear set) but different serial range

Thanks Jim. My numbers came from the Spec booklet, but it is always better to have proof. Do you have a photo of your trans #?
