Wow, that is amazing progress on your built!
Telling from the background, looks like you put the short Finnish summer to good use.

Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

    Mikkoh,
Were the original flares flanged or butt-welded?

Not a clue - someone who knows more of the factory history is needed to answer that. I will finish the flanges with very little body solder (lead free).

Front bumper fitted, this took several hours and as they were manufactured without any brackets I will use original brackets and laminate them into glass fiber.

Still looking for measurements for period correct type roll bar - anyone? This would be great help as I can easily bend it and would like to fit everything before painting. Body is now in the paint shop for about a month being prepared for paint job.

Some progress on the bodywork. Both bumpers are getting final adjustments and the whole body will be bare metal soon. The fenders welds I did solder with lead free solder (not sure if this correct English term..)

Body is now fully covered in Mipa EPX Epoxy paint. I picked up roll bar from Sweden that has been in 73 RS and adjusted the roll bar supports accordingly.

Lookin good. I don’t know if this is your 1st, or 50th restoration, but assemble the whole car 100% BEFORE you have it painted .
I know it’s a lot more work to take it back apart before painting, it it is a must. Nothing worse than fitting parts to,a car that has just rolled from the paint shop.
