    What year is this decklid?

The decklid, on my 1969, got replaced after a minor accident many years ago. I am starting to "finally" re-install the original rear wiper.
Anyone have picture of a rear wiper installed to give me an idea where I need to drill a hole for the motor bracket near the engine compartment light?

Curious as to what year this decklid is. What I think is: The 6 tabs for the grill did not start until 1970, the engine compartment light bracket did not start until 1973?? and the half round flattened section on the left is probably after 1973 based on a blurry photo of a 1973. No clue as to why this half round was put there. The first pic shows some type of pretty hard material that goes underneath the PORSCHE letters- again no clue why this is there or what it is. The pic of the decklid is at the bottom of the post as an attachment.(No clue how I did that!)
    What do the experts say??

my guess is this is a "multi purpose" deck lid...AKA porsche spare part.

are the cutouts for the licens plate lights are hand-carved?

I can't remember having seen the fiberglass reinforcing strip before. Have I spent too much time with pre-1970 cars?

No, the license plate cutouts are not hand cut, just dirty!

That is a post 73 lid. I went through these details when I was restoring my 73. The other thing you shouldn’t have for a 69 MY is the rectangular pressing just above the half round. This pressing came later.

the fiberglass piece would have me question its use.
that area would not need "reinforcement" normally
