They're in pretty good nick for unrestored 50+ year old seats.

Not in the same realms as some of the cars mentioned in this thread because it is a standard car but I own a SWB that is a very rare colour. Could possibly be the only 911 ever painted in it.

I had a 356 like this once, the only one I've ever seen. Normally the paint codes start with a 7, this one was a 9. It was Lachel Havana Brown, a color primarily used by Mercedes and Lambretta but not Porsche. Someone obviously wanted it so they got it.

Fantastic forward thinking by the original owner. Patina'd rust is almost identical to Havana Brown .

He was not the finest caretaker of the car. His wife was using it as a gardening shed. I asked if I needed to bring wheels, he said, no he had wheels. When I arrived he had new wheels in boxes, no tires. It's all I had, so I dragged it on new wheels, no tires.

The really funny thing is it was about a block away from Jake Raby's shop down in GA, he had no idea it was there.

Similar story to the 356 above I think.

Paint code is 21774 which is VW Yellow Green a pre 1960 Karmann Ghia colour. I've not managed to find a picture of one though. Car was ordered by a US Airline pilot who had previously ordered a 356 SC in the same colour, so my guess is he originally had a Karmann Ghia in the colour. The 356 still exists and is somewhere in California I believe (changed hands a few years ago). Might be the only 911 in that colour ? Impossible to know but I've not found pictures of one anywhere.

What it currently looks like, it is currently being re-assembled. I realise the paint colour looks different, it is a much better match in the metal. Different cameras light etc.
