original genuine Porsche Teile parts bag in hood

    hello,
can someone tell me about this bag? (circled in blue)
I imagine it is for a dirty popped tire.
has anyone ever seen one of these? and about what year did they start supplying them?
    has anyone made a reproduction?
this one (these images) is in a 72 T at Canepa.

My best guess is that didn't start until the collapsible spare tire cars.

Scott, it's a standard plastic bag that Porsche used for new parts in the 60s-70s.
Maybe someone thought it would be ideal to keep in the trunk, if needed for some new purpose.

    Scott,

That's the bag that a toolkit and sometimes other items (air compressor, paint stick, Owafix gloves) came in when the car was delivered. I'm not exactly sure when Porsche began delivering them but based on very original cars I've been around they were used before 1970. No one has made a reproduction. There are actually two different versions.

Yes it’s the bag the tool kit was delivered in. I have two of them and one with a 69’ NOS toolkit inside.
