    SWB Oil Tank Wiring

Can somebody please tell me or post pictures of where the wires from the rear harness get to the oil tank?

My harness splits for the rear passenger side lights, those wires go through a hole on the quarter leaving the wires for the oil tank in the engine compartment.

I am unsure how the wires rout to the Oil Tank.

    Thanks in advance

As far as I know the two wires route through and exit the tubular metal support for the DS tank and right rear bumper.

Thanks John, I thought it was something like that.

I don't suppose you have a picture by any chance?

Here is what I have. The wires do go through the tubular support and exit near the oil tank. Then the wires run up to the tank. Hope that helps.

Some of the earlier SWB cars had a screw-on cover over the sending unit with a cut out for the wires to pass thru. I believe the mounting stud was part of the sender
