I have been outspoken about being a victim of CPR selling me a car that was/is owned by another member of this forum. That member received a full interior restoration including sport seats from Tony Garcia at Autobahn Interiors. I paid in cash and that forum member has never owned up, even after I contacted him about buying his car (email and phone). Now that owner is selling this CPR-stained car through a well known California dealer, along with another CPR car (917).

Where is the Dealer outrage? That community of specialty dealers all know what CPR is up to and yet they stay silent, which only allows others to get scammed. I encourage all to not do business with any dealer associated in any way with CPR, directly or indirectly.

Here is a link to a post on the Rennlist that lists some of the lawsuits against CPR:

    https://rennlist.com/forums/911-foru...usiness-2.html

I am surprised that Canepa is selling the two cars mentioned in TonyI's post. CPR (Crooked Porsche Restoration) has been bad news for as long as I can remember and they need to be shut down ASAP.

A bit of evidence these 2 cars have the CPR stain on them.

There are various threads here and on Pelican that cover this unfortunate situation. I recall once of the threads mentioning a (CPR ?) law firm that was handing numerous complaints. I don’t know any of the details, but I’d search for that thread and contact the law firm directly with a demand letter.

Our Saga continues. CPR contacted me after seeing my post regarding them selling a car and not having the funds to pay the owner. Andrea Doherty has promised to pay, but so far we have not seen any money. At least she reached out to us, but my hope is dwindling that the 86 year old man that owned (owns?) the car will ever get they money stolen from him. I will keep up my efforts. Maybe she will do the right thing here.

Why would they change now? Pretty established M.O.

Remember CNC motors? Well, the owner was recently arrested for his illegal activities, not unlike those of CPR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTcRBeVF_gA

It is probably just a matter of time before the owners of CPR suffer the same fate. That CPR has been allowed to get away with they fraudulent practices for so long is outrageous.

So the moral of the story is when it comes time to sell your car you are going to have to sell it yourself.
