    new crest from the factory

    @all,

    the factory now proudly presented the re-edition of the crest.

    The ascending horse is drawn more aggressively. The spaces between the letters of the name "Porsche" have been reduced, so the letters themselves are larger. The raised marbling behind the name and the antlers has disappeared. Instead, the red bars now contain a three-dimensional honeycomb pattern. The word "Stuttgart" is now printed in black instead of embossed in gold, making it easier to read. And the gold border surrounding the coat of arms is slightly wider.

    Any comments on it?

    enjoy and best regards

    They probably should have left it alone, but at least they didn't completely redesign it like Peugeot did with their classic logo. I was disappointed though that they didn't go back to orange.

    i like the honeycomb
    the horse is looking more like a horse now ...but a bit to ferrariish---we know why
    the horse/stuttgart area still feels a bit empty

    Here is my car at a local auto-x a couple of weeks ago. Our early 911s are so far away from the current crop that this new insignia actually feels appropriate for the new cars to me. Sigh.

    I like to go back to the original, this is on the wall of my office to remind me.

    I think the little horse looks bad-tempered, and I don't quite understand what Porsche has in common with a honeycomb structure...
