I would think both options were available.
    Red carpet:
Get a sample from Lakewell in Belgium.
See if you like the color.
Red would be unique and uncommon.
But could be a lot of red.

    I favor unique.

    Black carpet:
    Lakewell’s black is near perfect.
    Get a sample.
    Very very common.

Something missing using black carpets. I'd be incline to use red mats with black carpets or black mats with red carpets.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

the diference is the Carpet, Red or black?

#2. I prefer foot wells to be dark and feel #1 is the option you would chose for your mistress back in 1970 if wealthy enough to.

That aside if the Kardex reads Red over Red thats a very OTT personal choice .

    I came across this car.
    A 1971,
1970 and 71 are very similar with only a few small differences.
They claim this is out of Italy,
They also said very low miles, just a few thousand, and all as new.
I’m not familiar with those seat belts.

You can see how the back is.
I’m not a fan of the black carpet in this photo. It doesn’t attract me much.
