    FS: 3.6L 1987 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was modified during prior ownership with a 3.6-liter 993 flat-six along with a 964 active rear spoiler. The car is finished in it’s original color of Carmine Red (L80F) over a full black interior, and additional equipment includes a five-speed G50 manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, a custom exhaust system, Classic Retrofit electric AC system, a restored power-operated black soft top, new tires, a front spoiler, LED headlights, European-spec rear bumperettes, staggered 16 inch Fuchs wheels, a Rennline strut tower brace, and a Porsche Classic stereo.

The cabin features seats trimmed in black along with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include a Classic Retrofit electric AC system that blows nice and cold, a manual cooling fan switch, manual rear spoiler switch, power windows, and a Porsche Classic stereo. A factory steering wheel fronts a tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline and a 160-mph speedometer along with auxiliary gauges displaying fuel level and oil level, pressure, and temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 81k miles.

16 inch genuine Fuchs alloy wheels measure 6 inch width up front and 7 inch wide out back and feature black centers and rims. New Riken Raptor 205/45 tires are mounted up front, and new 225/45 tires are fitted out back. Braking is handled by four wheel discs with new front and rear pads and rotors installed in April 2023. Bilstein shocks are fitted at all four corners and a Rennline strut tower brace has been added.

The 3.6-liter flat-six was sourced from a RoW 1995 Porsche 993 and installed in 2020 by Performance Independent Porsche of San Diego, California using conversion kit components sourced from Instant G of Newark, Delaware. Additional modifications include a custom exhaust system with a Magnaflow muffler and a conical air filter.

Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:

018 – Steering wheel with elevated hub
    070- Tonneau cover
    158 – Cassette-radio Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46
    220 – Locking differential 40%

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and displays history in Missouri, Illinois, California and Tennessee. This Carrera cabriolet is offered with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Tennessee title. Asking $59,500 obo.
