Well, I thank all of you who have responded to my pricing inquiry. I have an idea regarding where the market is and after performing a leak down test I will proceed with a BaT auction. I believe I am ethically bound to proceed with the auction as this was the basis of my inquiry. I just hope that it goes to an appreciative home.

I queried the Forum moderators prior to posting this thread and in way of response I was requested to provide a link to the auction when it goes live.

    Thank you again!

It's your car Paul sell it when and to whom you want. I don't really feel you're ethically bound to anything just to ask about fair reserve price. If you come to an agreement before the auction goes live then sell it feeling good about the decision.

I decided to list the car on the Esses forum, I'd rather it go to an Esses member than some random BaT bidder.

Thanks to all for feedback with my inquiry.

Great idea. BaT can be hit and miss. I chose to sell my hot rod early 65 to a well known Porsche owner and was happy with my price. I bought my 68 RoW Targa on BaT on a slow day and feel like it was a great price.
    Have fun!
