    And inside the roof.

Some of the things I see are beyond what the targa roof fitting article will detail.

    Scott, Ed -

Here are a few more photos with the top off. Seals are all new and the fit across the top front and back is actually quite good. My issue is along the top of the driver window. I think the chrome triangle needs a slight adjustment inward. As you can see from the photo, the triangle in not even touching the A pillar .. There is a small gap nd should be kissing that A pillar and gasket at the top. Then the window high may need to come up 1-2 cm, which I'm assuming I could do with the regulator adjustment. Do you have any good resources for adjusting the triangle pitch and the window height via regulator? That Targa tech handout helps, but it's a bit vague. many thanks.

what year is your car? That front seal looks like it is missing a lip that comes to the top of the window frame.
My dan Pechtel front seal does not use a plastic rivet there either.
Maybe the seals where different on the earlier cars.

You adjust the vent window frame after removing the door panel and making adjustments at the bottom of the vertical legs.

Thank you. The car is a model year 1969 and built in 1968 .. '69 was a transition year so lots of one-year-only parts on the car .. including the targa top.

I had to re-read description was not sure what” Triangle “was …looking at the photo where your pointing to the gap I get it …
Its the edge of the fixed vent window/frame.
As Mayo has said …remove door panel for adjustments…its the only way to get that frame closer to engage the rubber .
There are several locations covered by black plastic caps ..accessible without door panel off but there are 2 locations inside the door , you will want to utilize all locations to get things the way you like

Also if you google 1970 door panel removal there a good video showing all locations including the doorframe adjustment locations
