Really sad to hear. Nick stopped by my house a few years ago to pickup some parts. We had a great conversation about 911ST and 911R details. As everyone confirmed, just a super great guy.
God Bless his family.

I’m so very mad at the universe right now that I can barely stand it. Nick was the first to introduce himself to me long ago at an ESR eve gathering during a Lit Meet weekend. We were both steering wheel hounds, (the coincidence isn’t t lost on me).
Just a brilliantly wonderful person and we missed each other during RR7 regrettably. That’s all I can muster. A little overwhelmed.
RIP Nick.

I am very sad to read this news today. I have had a few dealing with Nick over the years. I have fond memories of him seeking me out to chat when i visited the Lit week swap meet and got the chance to see his wonderful ST. A lovely man. RIP Nick.

Utter shock
I got to know Nick through our landlord when we moved back to North County. Such a nice and genuine guy. I have a few nice memories that come to mind: Shortly after the ST was finished he took me out for a drive, he was so stoked and who can blame him. What a car!
Another good memory was after he’d let his son drive the ST on track for the first time. Nick was so proud, but a bit disappointed that his son had held back a bit. I asked if that wasn’t a good thing considering the car? Upon which Nick responded it was good he showed respect but the car is meant to be driven
Last one was during RR6, early morning and I had just crawled out of my tent and walked down for some breakfast. Foggy and very few people out. And there’s Nick with a coffee cup in hand with the biggest grin on his face. He was so happy to be there!
Nick thank you for being you, I’ll miss you!

I did not have the good fortune to meet Nick, but did have the honor and the privilege of admiring his skillfully restored 911S at The Petersen museum and on the silver screen. My deepest condolences to Nick’s family and to his friends.

Shocking. All the best to his family. Always friendly to me.
Talked to Nick a few times at San Diego car get-togethers, very pleasant guy. This is sad news, all the best to his family.

So very sorry to learn of Nick's passing. Just an absolutely wonderful guy on or off cars. I know him best for his amazing Porsche builds and his willingness to help out anyone. I saw Nick at Rennsport and he looked great. This is a huge loss for his friends, family and the Porsche community. RIP Nick.
