    Paid member no ads?

Just a question here but if you're a paid member every year could we do away with the ads? I pay a monthly fee on Youtube to get rid of ads and it's great. I think if you're a yearly paid member could we not do the same? Chuck what do you think?

    Over here now Scott......

Sorry about the ads ... I do all my message board stuff on my laptop where I hardly notices them ... I know with you phone guys it's a much more PITA

The practicality of it is we need what little revenue Adsense gets us quarter to quarter...

Sorry again, but we need everything we can get to keep afloat ...

You could always offer the option to advertise here to vendors that already do in Esses. Having ads in front of the most relevant potential buyers would allow you to charge considerably more than what you make from Adsense. Online advertising for the companies that service our hobby is also much easier for them to track from an ROI standpoint. You do have a captive audience here after all.

    Just my two cents.

I'm actually talking about the laptop Chuck. I never use my phone. I love the no add feature on YouTube and it's great. If we can't do it no big deal but I miss the good old days of no adds.

I fully endorse paying to use this site, and being a member (and the organizers using ad revenue to improve the financials)...however, I don't know how anyone uses the internet without an ad blocker. At the risk of getting banished, uBlock Origin is a good plug-in, just turn it off for the e911s registry .
