    RIP Herbert Linge

    RIP Herbert Linge.
The early Porsche years were built on the people of Porsche. Herbert Linge was one of those people. He did it all, from race driver to Plant Manager, he was what Porsche needed him to be when they needed it. Oh, the stories he could probably tell!

    Thanks for posting this Adam

RIP Herbert Linge.............. the passing of a Porsche legend
He was there from the very beginning and contributed to Porsche and its racing legacy in many roles. He also contributed significantly to the wider motorsport area, especially in the safety area, being one of the founders of the ONS safety team. I doubt that in today's world you will ever see another person who will make such important and varied contributions to an automobile company and the wider motorsport area as he has done during his life

I was lucky enough to meet and spend great time with him at Weissach. An unassuming gentleman, he did too much just to be resumed in one post. Godspeed

Such a dedicated employee. A career to be admired.
