    Laser Cleaning

    Hello All,
Anyone ever use a Lazer Machine to clean engine cases, cam housings, cam boxes, transmission housings etc.
Do you know of any shops that do it? Seems its much safer for the oil galleys, oil squirters etc. than Vapor Blasting or other meathods of cleaning.

    Thank you

Very interesting I wonder what the finish is like afterwards? Also, what would happen to the surface if you held it too long on one position?

    Thanks, Rick

I think Id wear protective clothing before I started that thing. You wouldn't accidently wand yourself twice. But powerful and sanitary results.

I have used it,fantastic but you need a powerful unit, only safety required is special sun glasses, you can run it over your hand with no effect, its the way forward and leves the parent surface as is.
