    Thumbs up

Over in this forum now Eric.... These are WONDERFUL !!!!

I think I was there for that weekend .... I was an Alfa guy back then...
The white righthand Alfa GTA #97 was out of John Shankle's shop driven by local hero Vic Provenzano, who would win Sebring in that car... And I would help in the 2.5 TransAm in his own GTA at Laguna Seca and Riverside in '71

WOW did your thread bring back memories ...

The #33 longnose 906 is Auto Zipper's driven by the great Scooter Patrick...
Scooter was also driving the Shelby Toyota 2000GT that weekend .....

I will REALLY look close at all these photos..... Thanks a bunch !!!

Those 911’s look to have a lot of wheel/tire in the rear. The rear wheel wells are full in the corners.

The #65 car appears to have 7” Torque Thrust wheels with the ears around the hub. The #3 and #4 cars appear to have 7” Fuchs in the rear. As far as I know, the earliest 911, outside of the 911R, with 7” Fuchs on the Kardex is 11820805, a 1968 911 T/R with Rally Kit. That car had a Kardex date of 28 April 1968. The Willow Springs race was a little more than a month after that.
