Does anyone have any photos of a flip up engine lid prop rod

Hi guys i was chatting with a friend and he said that hes seen some photos of a engine lid prop rod that
flipped up to hold the lightweight engine covers back in period. If anyone has any info or photos i
think it would be a good disscussion point.

    Thanks

John Audette produces a carbon rod version with ball bearing mount. Perhaps it is a copy of what you ask?

Thanks - I'll be adding the rear prop rod to my website today. It mounts to the existing engine mount and I include a longer bolt to install it.

No, it wasn't. Sure is cool, though.

After I broke a couple of the carbon fiber rods, I decided to go with the 993 RS prop rod to keep my deck lid up.

You may have to shorten the rod depending on where you want it to land.
But it snaps up out of the way with the spring clip.

Here's the solution I've been using for years.

Can double as an ASP if things get out of hand.
