    '. . . About This Car

3 families from new, very original, extensively documented – numbers matching, window sticker, delivery documents, all maintenance records. Correspondence between the current owner and the first two owners discussing how it was enjoyed by them. In 2010, a full restoration was completed. Emilio Romeo in Brooklyn NY handled body and paint restoration. The body was very clean – required just a new driver’s side fender/outer rocker/lower half lock post replacement. It was stripped to bare metal and Romeo removed the rear fender flares that Brumos installed and replaced them with butt welded factory arches to bring the car to stock. The car was completely disassembled, all new seals, new headliner/carpet/seatbelts/dash resto and new OEM door pockets were installed.Fresh Glasurit Silver Metallic paint was applied. Early 911 master mechanic John “Cheech” Fernandes at Rennwerke Porsche handled the mechanicals. The suspension was disassembled, trailing arms refinished, and the bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, and Bilstein shocks were replaced. Brakes were overhauled, new brake/fuel/vent lines, were installed. The engine was disassembled, the heads were rebuilt, cylinders refinished and new rings installed. The original magnesium engine case had new studs installed. The mechanical fuel injection pump was tested to spec and reinstalled and new SSI heat exchangers fitted. The 5-speed transaxle was rebuilt, and Cheech confirmed it is a very high locking diff from the factory. Options include: 5 speed transmission, Silver Metallic paint, Limited slip differential, factory AC, tinted glass and PW. The car is a “slick top”. Period Sports Seats with houndstooth inserts are installed but the car is sold with its original houndstooth comfort seats in good condition. The AC has been carefully removed and boxed as the current owner is not fond of AC in early 911s but it can all be reinstalled and modernized if desired. Many more pictures
