    Thanks this is very helpful. I do see the difference in the grain. Mine seem to have more wrinkles and spidering like leather.

    So putting the pieces together these seem to be '71 leather seats given the material, chrome hinges and shark fin release button.

    Now what to do with them ...

    Judging from the pics, I think they are leather and in excellent shape.

    Thanks. Well I've been treating them with natural oils to try and soften them up, so they smell like that now haha.

    Pepita fabric is widely available, in all colors, not the original used 650gr /m2, but some lighter material, which will do the job, too-..
