    AD’s ????

I haven’t been here for a while. Are the ads something new? Given the level of established behavior here some of them appear to be outside of our culture.

Yes. Abundant cleavage. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind. It just seems out of bounds for the culture that have established here via your moderating.

what you see for ads is not what i see for ads
if you search to buy plastic jesus , rosery beads, and bibles and thats all you search for to buy for a few days
i bet you will see ads for bibles etc. for sale.
    P.S.
currently i see ads for Sierra madre collection due to my shopping there recently

    Lightbulb

Yeah.......... When we started it we weeded out most of the dicey stuff in the 'rotation' ... sometimes they have come back...
However, like Bob said, it's mostly now in your Google search algo ...
Right now mine is 'Closet World' and 'Swiss Air'....

Mine is encouraging me to shop for a 2023 Nissan Rogue ... which is something I have never searched for ...

    I agree.

The too many ads are obnoxious.

I would be worried these ads might cause some people to the other Registry. I’m staying here but they are really annoying. Does there have to be one at the top and one at the bottom? I often use an iPad and the small screen is about half ads and half content.

An adverising drop down curtain banner, when using forum on the iPhone, masks entirely the top navigation bar; that’s the one that irritates me. I have to close it using the small hard to click button to navigate the forum or to see message notifications of the site etc . I don’t mind adverts in principle if it funds site but when a banner impedes navigation and add time and clicks to use it then it has become too much imo. Haven’t paid much attention to content as my concentrations is trying to close the damn thing with the world’s smallest x. I don’t look at content but the banner I see looks different to the screen grab. It sort of raises and lowers like a virtual curtain. May not be ESR of course? Mine doesn’t display scantily dressed women like John’s either … which seems a pity, so what am I doing wrong?

    . . . This is a Problem?

    . . . 'cause, uuum . . . I believe those 'obnoxious ads' help pay for our site . . .

. . . which keeps all our (non-paying) 'guests' entertained

    Seriously? . . .
