Bahama Yellow is my favorite color. However, it wasn't available on the '73 911s. That's why I asked about Signal Yellow...

Steve, the Porsche Production Specifications for my '73 911T says the exterior color was Light Ivory. It also revealed that 'Porsche' script was added to the doors. That definitely looks cool...

Yes, Irish Green is great color, although I like it a bit more on a Jag E-type...

Signal Yellow will look fine on a targa because there is not a lot of it.

I agree - much better on Targa than a Coupe
    1968 911L Coupe - Golden Green
    1971 911S Coupe - Gemini Blue
    1973 911S Targa - Signal Yellow
    1974 914 2.3 - Sunflower Yellow

There were some good colors intruduced with F bodies. I'm partial to Dalmation/Oxford/See Blau. The darker colors look good against the targa band, IMO.

Sepia Brown FTW! I really like Light Ivory, though. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I just got done washing my car for the first time in 8 months.

Color is personal! Paint it the color you want! The beauty of Sepia is you don't have to wash it! Haha, drive that car up here to Oregon Jim. I've got roads you just don't have down there!!!

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

Great picture, but of course I took that one, a 65 sunroof I did years ago.

When I went looking for an S I wanted one with a loud color - I found Signal Orange. Any of the signal colors. Viper green. Gets attention, the white is a bit less fun if you are going to do all the work of painting the car.

Finally here is one for Steve, eggplant
