Now THIS is more my style

Basically a Big Ol' Car Show --- before some Dipster called 'em Cars & Coffee

The show was supposed to be about '80s cars . . . but we snuck 1059 in by calling her a 'back-date'

Got some funny looks when they were letting us in . . . but I think there were too many people already lined-up behind us to chase us out, sooooo . . .



Anyway --- that Guy standing next is none other than Lou Scalzo, Owner #6. We stay in touch and met up for the show. One of his buddies is a regular and rented a house coupla blocks down the road in Fernandina, so we spent a few days hanging out

I remember the story of this thing arriving at the Trans Am. Scrutineers didn't quite know what to make of it, told Audi . . . 'that's a sedan --- it's got four doors. We only race coupes, here'

So the Audi Guys took the car back to their garage --- and welded the two back doors shut

'Good-to-go. I guess'



Came back to this monster twice . . . but never got a shot of the kwazy motor

Can't believe how old this is
