Porsche Documents about Fuchs R wheels

    Hello

Are there any Porsche documents existing about the use of Fuchs 7R wheels type 901 361 012 05 on Longhood cars. Maybe a price list or
    fitting instructions.
I need something from the factory for the German TÜV. TÜV =. technical inspection

    Thank you for your help

It is from mid 70s when changing to the Fuchs with hump as factory belatedly moved to tubeless radial steel belted covers.

May be relevant as by implication the earlier Fuchs without hump are mentioned — shouldn’t use tubeless tyres with them also whike wasn’t the practice back then tube type tyres now shouldn’t be used in 60 aspect ratio. In fact I’ve read infomation from some tyre makers saying tube-type tyres are not permitted by many inside modern tubeless covers.

It would seem it is hard if not impossible to legally use the older wheel and tyres in combination. Not what many want to hear.

I suspect some owners don’t bother heeding this position also I’m not sure how insurers would view it if became aware the OEM information were being disregarded. Somehow I’d doubt a formal body like TUV in Germany allow folks to turn a blind eye to technical information from vehicle OEM and its suppliers regarding permitted combinations of rims covers tubes.

I’m not an expert just sharing what I’ve read so would be good to hear TUV’s official position. Tyres and rims are safety critical items and like many things on cars designed to work in combinations that are compatible so recommend to get advice from qualified experts and regulators in region or country to be safe legal and maybe not (inadvertently) invalidate road insurance.
