    Electroplating Shops in North Carolina

Planning to restore the finish on a handful of original hardware from my 1972 911. These parts are all original to the car, and are somewhat stained/tarnished over the last 52 years.

Most shops in my area (Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point, NC) are large-scale industrial operations and do not do small retail work.

Does anyone in mid-North Carolina area know of a competent electroplating shop (or individuals) which can do small batch-batch plating in Yellow Zinc or Cadmium?

    Any read/referral would be appreciated.

Try Jose @ 323.585.8730. He's in Greensboro, I think he runs a large plating company, but did some side work for me. It was 356 stuff, so silver, not gold color, but maybe he goes both ways

You can buy yellow chromate and dye your newly plated clear zinc. It's easy, and you determine how yellow/gold the part turns out.
