    Wiring help #2

These connections are just inside the passenger side front trunk. 5 connections. Also, the wire that goes near the trunk lid connecting bracket - on the top left of photo - appears to go up and then behind the passenger fender/door area. Not sure where to. I know that restoring my 914 there were some wires for various options that were not used. Perhaps those are these. But I believe one of them is for the trunk light.

I just stripped my ‘69 T to get it ready to paint and I think that was where the wires for the convenience lighting in the headliner were routed - basically behind the fender and then up the A-pillar IIRC.

The wires laying down show the raw end feed for door switch
The other black and brown connect to the ceiling lights ( note the male ends connect-to the female ends)
You can also the the black/white stripped connecting to the interior hood lights , also the raw end to the switch that actuated the trunk lights.
    Hope this helps.

So I spent some time looking at all the wiring...there are two sets of wires - one that comes from the Interior light and down into the trunk and the second that runs under the cowl from the drivers side.

I have 5 connectors 3 Female and 2 Male. I am missing the harness that goes up to the switch and the light itself. I am trying to understand what connects to what.

Ok....the photos I had shown were for my 70 targa, although may be similar I decided to reviewmy 71 Sunroof coupe...
I have it stripped down and all areas your concerned about related to wires I photoed this morning.
So there are 6-7 photos and will take too long to post so send me PM with your email and will send.
Here are a couple for others interested.
