For a minute their I thought someone would forget the most controversal and sometimes the most misunderstood option there was at this time. Sportomatic (Tiptronic), there only a few of us 911 S Sportos out here we're not lepers anymore.

Actually my 71'S came with a rare option. Stock Recaro seats.

I know that stock Recaros aren't rare but I think to opt out of the sport seats which were standard equipment on a 71'S would be rare if not downright dumb.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

My European delivery 67S, came with a sunroof, rear window heater, and factory thru the grills driving lites; It also has three point seat belts, but I'am not sure if they are original.
I believe this car may be unusual, but stand to be corrected.

3 Point belts were an option starting not later than the 1966 model year (my '65 has original Porsche 3 point belts):

    9204 Becken-Schrägschultergurt, links
644.803.901.03 Safety belt, diagonal-plus-lap type, left

    9205 Becken-Schrägschultergurt, rechts
644.803.901.06 Safety belt, diagonal-plus-lap type, right

The part number indicates they carried over from the 356.

These would have been VERY, VERY easy for the dealer to install and might not show up on a Kardex.

    rare early options

I also forgot to mention , my 67S also has the heated rear window option. My three point seat belts, have original mounting points, as shown in the workshop manual, just not sure if the belts them selves are original. What do original seat belts look like? Do they have a Porsche crest on them?
