I thought the 5 x 130mm PCD is exclusive to Porsche? And the only other guys using 130mm (but 4-lug) is VW?

So how's this thing about them being truck wheels? And 16" too! Hehe... I'd like to lay my hands on some too!

    Sleeper Steelies?

I think that those steelies belong to Scott's Independent in Anaheim (CA).

    Sprint,
Cut the centers (turn the wheels on a lathe to remove the welds) out of a Porsche steel wheel, get a 16" steel rim with a drop center I.D. that matches the O.D. of the Porsche center (or cut down to fit the I.D.), figure out what offset you want/need, true up the centers in the new rims and weld.
I've had 15x4's widened to 7's, 8's, and 14x6's changed to 15x10's... really cool for a sleeper/hubcap look, the only downside is the resulting steel wheel weight.

    And it's Twin plugged!

    Hi Jens,
Thanks for the extra pic's. This guys got it goin' on under the hood too. Look at that uncolored engine shroud. This guy seems to be hiding a 911R powerplant too. Jens, who's the lucky owner?
While the rest of you are focusing on a set of fabricated deep dish steel wheels (remember they are still steel not alloy), this guy with the gulf blue SWB is quietly creating the perfect early SWB beast.

He's got the early sport seats too!

And they are houndstooth... This guy has covered pretty much all of the bases.
Jens, what was the story with the extra gauges to right of the radio? I am assuming that those are aftermarket. Don't tell me he's runnin' nitrous too....

Those are rallye timers, very cool and *expensive* (early Heuers?). I had my hands on a set of really nice mounted set of Heuer aircraft timers from WW11 down at gun shop on Amelia Island one year. The guy had a very reasonable price on them and I had my cash out, then he just up and decided they were not for sale...damn.
