    Brian,

    You are right in the sense that if there are blatent things that can be seen in the photos. Especially from one group of pictures to another. In fact I probably should post pictures and the story on RS 1642.

    I guess you didn't know about the 52 RSs built after 1590?? Just kidding of course. I found what is claimed to be an RS with a # of 1642. I will post the full story and pictures as soon as I figure out how to post them.

    Integrity and honor

    Well George, one either is an honorable person or one is not. Fraudulent auto sales have been exposed on this list and others before. My first thought was that you should contact the seller with your information and see what the response is, I'm glad you chose that route before slamming them publicly. Lets hope the situation can be explained by this seller (we know him/her you say?). I think you're doing the right thing by this, but if it comes to pass that this car is in fact being misrepresented and can be proven to be, then you owe it to any prospective buyer to make it known. Even if there is reason to suspect misrepesentation, it needs to be fully researched. Such practices are not acceptible.
